In about two sentences, what do you do?
I’m an innovation coach and I mostly create learning contexts where MBO students can work on 21st-century skills. I train and I create education.

And in your work: what are you most proud of?
That I help young people prepare for a future that changes quickly.

What do you think about pineapple on pizza?
I don’t like pineapple and I understand from American series that it’s not okay to put it on pizza either.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
To teach people to think for themselves, instead of blatantly parroting others.

Who was your childhood idol? Are you (almost) there?
Prince.

I’ve never looked at idols that way. You admire Prince but you don’t have to become him. With Prince, I remember that when you’d turn the CD around you’d see: Music by Prince, Lyrics by Prince, everything by Prince. He did everything himself.

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and I need some inspiration. What is your idea of an ideal or most romantic date?
Going out to dinner at a nice restaurant. So you’re served something special. That could be anything, Japanese, good Italian. Mario in Zaandam, for instance, yeah that might  be the ideal date.

With friends, however, I like to invest time in good food and good company too. On several weekends during each winter a couple of good friends of ours come over for zuurvlees
